A friend of mine said to me , "Why do I need Thanksgiving day to be thankful? I am thankful for every single day since I came home from Viet Nam. Ya' know I never believed I would live to make it back. So every day that I wake up I look at as a 'Freebie' for me."

We all have a lot of things to be thankful for as Bob has said, I think the one of the most important things is recognition. Recognition of those things we Americans often take for granted and how lucky we are to have things that we hold dear. Many others are not so fortunate; we should take this opportunity to remember them too.

Hope you all , my extended family, have a great Thanksgiving Day. I will, with family, friends, I won't walk the 1½ miles today, and I won't watch what I eat! THAT is what I'm Thankful for!

PS.. Coco is thankful today too, thankful that car was not going too fast & she remembered to DROP, ROLL and RUN!
