I'm told this 1 Escudo chip is from a private club to the north of Estoril by the name of Club Atlantico. I received it as a gift 10-years ago from someone who is in the casino business in Portugal, and who knew a family member of the operators who ran the club prior it it closing in 1927. The club opened in 1902 and operated for 25 Summer seasons catering to the British.

The piece is hand engraved; 35mm. Do we know of other denominations?
