I don't remember if I told this story before or not. While at the superbowl show earlier this year I stopped at Mandalay Bay to harvest a few roulettes and check out the banks of Silver Strike machines. I know this story is true because it happened to me not once but twice on different machines. I normally don't play silver strike machines but do throw in any extra quarters I have in my pockets. If I remember correctly they are 3 coin machines and for some reason I played 2 coins. Both times I hit for one token and didn't get any payout. Apparently there is a programing error in all of the machines that cause this to happen. The technician said he knew about it but didn't know if or when the problem would be fixed. What really p*ssed me off was after looking at the machine and not finding anything wrong he put MY 2 quarters back in it and hit for a small jackpot (like 10 quarters) and used them to hit for 3 more tokens but didn't give any of them to me. In the end I got my 1 token and I think 2 quarters back. Has anyone else noted program problems with these machines?
