I've seen and heard those fickle fans boo their beloved OVERRATED heros when they don't perform just as much as anyone else. Yea they were giving Justice a lot of encouragement - weren't they?

Actually Scott, this isn't fickleness at all,NY fans appreciate good baseball. We don't care who you are if you screw up you here it. But when you do good you get praised.

On day we criticize Soriano for not running hard, the next day we cheer him for good defense and clutch hitting. We're not bound up in a cult of personality. Its not the player that matters its what he does. New York fans will love you if you go out and play good hard baseball.
