I picked this up at an estate sale last week. The people said their uncle used to own a bar here in Phoenix and he would sell chances to the patrons. It measures 12 1/2 " X 17 1/2 ". It a hard board with paper cover. It was found in its original cover rapping, kind of a brown paper bag type paper. Since I don't know how to post two images in one post I'll do a second one which shows the payouts. There were a 1000 chances @ $.05 each so that the owner could earn up to $32.15. The people felt it was from the 30's but I think it was more like the 40's by looking at the girl pictured on the board. The colors are not quite right in the scan. It is like a piece of art to me and for that reason it will find a place on one of our walls or decorating shelves. I thought maybe somebody knew more about this type of gambling. I guess it is kind of a lottery. The original punch is still sealed in the back of it in a little pocket. The board is almost one inch thick.
