NONE of the yankee fans get IT or ever will. I know because I'm an Indian Fan living in Jersey and working with Yankee fans all day. What's a couple million. I of all fans know what a couple millions means.

Cleveland Payroll = about $90 Million
Yankee Payroll = about $115 Million

Now do you really think Cleveland wouldn't know what to do with that extra $25 Million? That would get about 1-2 good pitchers and turn our 91 wins into 100+ wins in a NY minute!

Then they talk about their Farm system, etc...

What FARM system do you think Albert Belle and Manny came up thru? Cleveland. And do you think they wanted to let them go in the PRIME of their career because they thought they were done in the majors. Do you think they traded Justice, Casey and Giles because they thought they were done. NO silly rabbit. They have to trade players to fill holes like everyone else. Not BUY the player they need to fill the hole.

That is MAJOR difference between some teams and the Yankees! They can afford to KEEP the stars that have come up thru the minors, while others, like the A's and Indians can NOT.
