I feel the same way! It was FUN to watch the Dodgers build their teams through the farm system & make it to a World Series. As did other teams back then. Now it is not the same thing.

By the way, did you know that when the Yankees & Oakland played their 5th & final game a few Mondays ago that the T.V. ratings were a LOT better for the Monday Night Football game. The two teams in that game were the winless Cowboys & Redskins! How sad is that? The bottom line is that the REST of the country is tired of watching the Yankees. That along with very little fan base for Oakland means nobody caring or watching.

The BEST thing that could have happened for Baseball would have been for the Mariners to beat the Yankees. The NEXT best thing will be for the Diamondbacks to beat them. As much as Yankee fans will say otherwise.........IF the Yankees win the World Series Baseball's fan base drops a little more!
