Yes I went to the Umax site tried several different things. I read a report from them that stated SCSI scanners (my model mentioned specifically) would not operate under ME. I am really enjoying the very stable OS environment I get with ME (no blue screens for two days) I 'm thinking I will go scanner shopping. Any suggestions on good scanners??
