There AIN'T NOTHING fuchsia about that chip
although it IS the one the books call fuchsia.
I'm sticking with MAROON OR BURGUNDY for that color...
although Paulson has other ideas...LOL
For anyone who is new and wasn't here to see the drama unfold ~~ I found this Las Vegas Club One-Armed Bandit chip in a local antique shop- but had problems determining which chip I had due to interpretation of "color"
James Campiglia and Mel Jung immediately emailed me upon my "find" ... and both told me (without seeing the chip of course) they were 90%+ positive I had the "good chip" which is called fuchsia in TCR and C&W - not the "common purple" dime that is also listed.
At the convention, my chip was positively ID'ed
as the "fuchsia variety" and the chip went to a new home where it lives with other Bandits and obsolete Nevada dimes
But BOY-OH-BOY ... Ain'T NOTHING to hook you into this hobby faster than when ya find something really neat and get to live the excitement of discovery, identification and learning the history of the chip!
Gee I LOVE CHIPS!!!
