The University caught one of our maintenance personnel helping himself to donations for the Firefighter fund left in our chapel. He had apparently been doing this for a number of days since he was flashing what one of our people said were "wads" of dough around every day. After being fired (and after being compelled to pay back what he stole) he is now complaining that he was not treated fairly. I suggested that they drive him to NYC, put a sign on him that read, "I stole money from the firefighter's fund" turn him loose at Canal Street and see how fairly New Yorkers would treat him. He's the second person upstate who has tried to profit off this event that we know of.
