If all is as it seems to be, then yes, I'm sure they are very nervous and edgy too. I don't like feeling uneasy about my neighbors, I never have before and I don't want to now. It's just an underlying uneasyness. And no, I can't spell. But I'm sure your right. They must feel bad too. Time for a visit I guess.
