WASHINGTON- They're patrolling a port in Boston,
guarding a chemical weapons depot in Indiana and flying the skies across America to ward off attack.

With the call-up of more than 15,000 Reserve and National Guard troops in the new anti-terrorism campaign, defense of the homeland has become the No. 1 job of those often called the nation's "citizen soldiers" or "weekend warriors."
