My post was designed to show those who doubted, that in fact it is happening and it is happening at the expense of innocent people. That is to remove the delusion that only terrorists were being removed from planes.

You are correct about these particular incidents not being government actions. And as much as I despise bigotry I believe very firmly in the rights of individuals to be bigots.
(BTW what do you think would have happened if these people had refused to get out of their seats?)

But I'm not the one confusing the issue. You see in the previous thread, my objection to racial profiling was met with an attitude along the lines of "If your not willing to sacrafice a few liberties then you are anti-American." Go along to get along.

Mike's post was a continuation of that theme which led to the discussion of our government. It was Mike who lead the thread there not me.
