Sorry I misunderstood your post. You are right, I did kind of poo poo your mention of getting a virus just from visiting a web page. But face it, it is very very rare. Most ISP administrators are smart enough to keep that kind of stuff off their systems.

I've only been infected by one virus in my whole life. I forget the name, but it was that one that displayed the fireworks. It was several years ago. I am surprised at the number of times you get infected. It seems that you do have an inordinate number of problems with them.

There is a link to my email address on hundreds of internet pages. I get some spam, but rarely anything hostile. I figure it is just one of the prices you pay for using the net. I get more junk snail mail than I do spam. At least with spam I don't have to carry it down to the curb once a week.
