I was letting this drop, but YOU have asked for an explanation:

You accused Jay of offending an entire group of people. Since many owners/workers in 7-11 are of mid-eastern ancestry, you are, in effect, accusing Jay of offending a particular race.

In this country, when someone says or does something to offend a minority race, inevitably, that person is labeled a racist (at least by politically correct, left wing liberals).
