That I think is the important point. As I mentioned they do take alot of cargo. For the most part they may plan on flying the remaining routes and flights anyways. Even if they can get 50 per passenger for a half filled plane, 100 psgrs that is $5000. That might not pay for the fuel but it will probably pay the crew. If they can pick up all of or at least some of the fuel costs from cargo and mail that is better than having to shut down. I agree, LV should be thankful for their efforts. I hope they are successful. As for one comment about always on time, My last two flights in June departed as much as 30min late. On our flight from ORD to LAS we left half hour late. We did arrive in LAS 5 minutes early though. Our flight back was about 20 minutes late and we arrived about on time.
