and was passed in 1964, I believe. I have been in "Exonumia" since the early 1970s and seen more than my share of fakes, fantasies, fabrications and the various. I once formed a "collection" of about 100 of those obnoxious fakes, like Fat Ann's Saloon, got tired of them and donated them to the Token and Medal Society's "fake" reference collection. As experienced as I am I got semi-stung on a group of Civil War tokens that were fakes. A $20,000 group if they were genuine, they turned out to be cast electrotypes. I am preparing a thorough study of them for the Civil War Token Society now, with pictures.
