The reason they don't want the ribbons is because they are afraid it could open the door for union buttons. This is sad but true. Several months ago, I sat in on a meeting where some corporate attorney was telling us all this crap that we can't allow. I don't know why they were telling me this. I am not management. I just sit box on a crap game. I'm an hourly employee just like the dealers. The last two days, we have worn ribbons and flags. Nobody has said a word. We have a fantastic Casino Manager and I know he does not care. It is the ones above him and the attorneys I worry about. They want to keep the union out no matter what. Patriotism be dam*ed.
