Following is an email received by Donna from her cousin that now lives in Tennesee. Donna has not seen her cousin in 40+ years.
Best to all;
Bruce & Donna
My heat hurts, and my whole being is in pain for those who lost their loved ones, but I am giving thanks to all those who survived.
There is such a fine line between life and death. Life is precious, We need to cherish every breath we take. Let's you and me hope that God will protect us and redeem our great country.
Let's all pray for everyone who is in pain. We must trust and support our leaders and our government as they redeem our country and defend the freedom that this great nation was founded upon.
We (I) have taken life and our freedom soooo for granted. My entire outlook on life and so many other things changed in a split second on Tuesday September 11, 2001.
All of a sudden every problem I have or ever have had is so tiny and meaningless, including loosing my eyesight a few years back. Those men and women who worked at the Trade Center simply got up, got dressed, went to work for the good of they and their families and for that they died. They died for doing all things that are right.
It is inconceivable that this could happen to the most powerful, most intelligent country in the world, but it did. I will think twice before I ever complain about things again. I have my life and it takes times like this when we realize just how precious life is.
I love you dear family of mine........please give each and every one of the Karli family a hug and kiss from me. Promise me you will do that.
