My co-worker was quoted in yesterday's NY Times:
""The building just shook — if you had a bottle and you just shook it." said Norma Hessic, chief of staff of the New York Metropolitan Transportation Council, on the 82nd floor. She had been in the building during the 1993 explosion, and headed instinctively with co-workers to the staircase.
"This time the conditions were better," she said. "At least we had light in the staircase all the way down. In the staircase the people were very orderly."
