I had a situation a while back where a small freezer had to be delivered to an airport facility beyond the luggage check.
My driver was off for a few days so I decided to do it myself.
I was transporting the freezer on a hand truck. I was asked to remove all metal objects from my person as I passed through the metal detector. My pager was also examined. Since the box the freezer was in was too large to fit on the conveyor NO one even gave it a look. THAT was supposed to be security.
I and my driver had similar experiences passing the checks at the WTC.
