Marv; Your post vividly demonstrates how difficult is is to "educate" people who obvously don't want to be educated.

As you (and others) have pointed out, "The Plege List" has NOTHING to do with the SlabFree Chapter. This point has been hammered away over and over again from several quarters ... yet there are many chippers reading these posts that still don't understand the difference between the two.

As Jim Pierre has posted, he is a member of Slab Free, but has not signed onto "the list". I wonder how many names appear on one document, but not the other? I'm sure that the often referenced number of 400 names opposed to slabbing, would be considerably higher if both rosters were combined... as both rosters are opposed to slabbing, but one group calls for boycotting and pledging, the other does not.

Bottom line is that a significant number, much higher than 400, have voiced their objection in one way or another about the negatives of slabbing. Too bad our club officers didn't get the combined message.
