Wagon Wheel Roulette Mystery

Look below at the scan of two different design 'pilot wheel' chips. Both types are hot stamps on a Small Key mold.

Those shown in the top row are pictured in the appendix of TCR as being from Harveys, Tahoe. They have a thick solid stamped image.

Those shown in the bottom row are pictured in Campiglia/Wells book as being from Harveys, Tahoe. They have a thin outline-type stamped image.

The designs are obviously different and I wonder if both were used at Harveys in the past. What makes the chips in the top row questionable is their size... they are a millimeter smaller than the normal casino chip. I am guessing they may be generic poker chips rather than club chips.

Any comments or opinions? Any of you oldtimers remember playing with either of these 50 years ago [g] ?
