This is from the Hoopa Valley Tribe. To our knowledge they have never had either chips or a token so this is a FIRST. This is one of the very early indian casino's of northern CA. Before Win River, before Elk Valley and others I can't name at this time. When this Casino first opened,(info from former resident) they would bring in 3 bus loads of people a day, as Indian casino's were NEW and it was on a "Reservation". Now it is a VERY small place tacked on the end of a small shopping center, by the police station. Doesn't appear to have much traffic anymore. Rather seedy. The Hoopa reservation is North of Eureka, then hang a right on this nice hwy that gradually becomes an Elk Trail for another 1 1/2 hours.
Anyone interested, please email. We're not Giving them away.
