If this person is as he says he is, a broker for others, then I understand his position. If, however, he is the owner of the chip, than I don't.

Bottom line as I stated before, is to boycott this or any other individuals auctions that you feel charges excessive shipping charges.

One big problem in our hobby is that most chips sell for little money compared to shipping cost---in fact, in some cases. the chip may cost equal to or less than the shipping cost. This is why I do little buying on ebay. I prefer to either trade or else attend chip shows. Yes, I know it cost more in the long run to go to shows and conventions, but at least I have fun doing it.

Tell me if I'm wrong, but I believe most dealers in our club charge a fair amount as they know most of us will not stand for these excessive charges.
