This was the auction I was referring to in the post I made in the whole Pete Rizzo initiated stream.
Josh wrote me back and indicated he would better describe it the next time he put one out for auction.
While I was a little disappointed, at least he indicated he wouldn't do it again.
I'm starting to get the feeling that this kind of practice keeps showing up more and more in our hobby, club members or not. I received a chip from another club member that has obviously been altered. I see auctions indicated "old" Tropicana chips, even though I can walk to the cage and pick them up by the rack full. I see people complaining of others for trying to make a profit only to see some of those same people sell chips for over inflated (well above Chip Rack) prices at the convention or other places. While technically, none of these things are illegal or immoral, they just don't feel right.
I'm starting to wonder if I should just boycott everyone. I already have a list of people that I will not do business with again. I'm contemplating a couple of others right now as well.
It almost makes me want to give up the hobby. I've been told I have a basic mistrust of people. I wonder why....
Sigh,
Bryan
