So this guy lives in Vegas where there fatasy chips are sold. He knows that the hole was a cancellation by the casino. If I didn't know, I would have guessed it was done to be used as a keyholder. However, a casino cancellation further sustantiates that it was a legal casino chip (why else would it be cancelled if it wasn't a real chip).

This whole episode smells.
