Why can't the pledge simply be not to buy or sell a slabbed chip.

I've been told that many that have signed the pledge have broken it. Specifically they have dealt with dealers who sell slabbed chips. BTW, what is the great difference between selling and auctioning a slabbed chip?

I think it would be more consistant if the pledge was amended.

BTW, why is it ok to sell chips to known slabbers. If the answer is that it is not ok, that would be patently unfair to expect a slab-free dealer to turnaway a big bucks sale. Let's face it, the slabbers have spent alot of money.

I will not buy, trade for or own a slab.
