Of course they didn't answer all my questions including the how I could grade a chip?

This chip is graded AU58 which means it is as close to new, or
uncirculated as you can get.
ICG uses a grading scale similar to coin grading. As to the question is
this grading system commonly accepted in the chip collecting community -
Since we started certifying chips about a year ago we have sold around
300 certified chips and about 600 uncertified chips. Most of the
certified chips have been a crossover collectable for our coin and
currency collectors. Very few have sold to "hardcore" chip collectors. I
hope this answers your questions.
