Pete,
I don't think "Just because someone does not agree with you means he should be silenced. " is the point.
The points I'd like to make that you are name calling, aggressively attacking someone without asking them about their auction privately first, and being borderline vulgar in a public venue. (Some of the words you used offend some people.)
If I put something out there that could be misleading, I would really hope someone shoots me a quick e-mail so I can correct it rather than bash me in public. I would think you would want to be treated that way as well.
FYI... There is an E-bay auction right now from someone who is a regular on this board. I know this person to be very honest as far as I have dealt with them. However, they have an auction that is pretty much every bit as "misleading" as the one you pointed out. Instead of highlighting it to all, I sent a personal e-mail to them to point it out. Now, if I don't get a reply or see the auction updated, I think there would be a point to posting something on the board. My guess is that it won't come to that. If it doesn't, problem solved. If it does, well the person had a fair chance. In either case, name calling and use of borderline vulgar words is uncalled for.
