Did I misunderstand your message? I understood you to say that Pete was correct in speaking his mind and letting people here know of what he fealt was a misleading ad where potential buyers might be getting "screwed". I was agreeing with you on that and like you value his and others warnings and notices about questionable auctions. However, I feel that maybe his comments were excessive. All I said was that it might have been more productive if he had posted his notice of the facts surrounding the chips and held back on the specific allegations or insinuations until after communicating with Crystal. It might turn out that his comments would have had some educational value and caused Crystal to make some correction or ammend her auction discription. It seemed, to me at least, that he went straight after her. Now feelings may have been hurt and tensions have mounted. Based on what Pete and others have said, Her ad may have been incomplete but I didn't see the discription as "Misleading" or fraudulant.
In my comment, I also put in my feelings that Pete is a decent dealer that I trust. Therefore my comments should not be taken personally. In fact, from the correspondance that I have received from him and Chantal I have been a bit confused here. I don't find these comments, today, consistant with the Pete that I have dealt with. Maybe there is more behind this than I know about. However, from the ad that Pete mentioned in his first message I, personally didn't see the specific problems that he mentioned.
