Hello Chantal, I think that most would agree that this situation could have been handled in a much more civilized nature. If you look through Crystal's auctions, you will see that the auction in question was listed within a large group of other $5 chips...and as many sellers do, she used a template for her ad...and started all the $5 chips at $4.99.

I have checked into this, and I assure you, Crystal was not trying to mis-lead anyone. Intent is the real question, and in no way did Crystal intend to mislead as Pete has implied. Many of Pete's comments were borderline slanderous. Read through all of his post...it's pretty tough and nasty stuff...and completely un-called for...and many of the other readers of this board have expressed that they saw nothing mis-leading about Crystals ad.
Pete's attack then spread to include JackpotAuctions...with name-calling and outrageous suggestions. Pete has bought from Jackpot several times, and gotten some pretty good deals.
I am certain that if Pete were to have contacted Crystal directly, she would have appreciated his help, and promptly corrected any error. AND NO, Crystal is not my wife...as many of you know, my wife of 24 years is Tammy...a CC>CC member, as am I.
Crystal is my daughter, and I am very proud of her...she treats everyone fair...ships promptly...and does her best to accurately describe her chips...BUT, she is still learning, and does occasionally make a mistake. I just think that Pete could have treated her with alittle common decency and contacted her directly instead of bashing her on this board.
Crystal has worked very hard to keep her customers happy, and it shows...2670 positives...no negs...no neutrals on ebay.
About 600 positives on Jackpot...no negs...no neutrals.
I did check out Petes feedback, and it is good, (1402 positives...5 neutrals)...but even Pete is not perfect:

I'm not trying to make a big deal of it...but apparently even the experts can make a mistake.
We should all be a little more civilized, and try to help educate before we start bashing each other.
