I have purchaced chips for distribution and a one thing that affects how I buy is how close is the casino (can u get more easily or cash in surplus).
If it's close ... get sloppy buy a bunch of everything.
If NOT close buy primarily $1's & $5's and a handfull of $2.50's >>Take orders on $25's & up.

To get % of each you have to know your traders. Some want 1 or 2 others want 10 to 15 (dealers). The more you do the better you get. Upside, I have never been 'STUCK' with chips of ANY demomination.
