It seems to me there is a different threshold when dealing with businesses, which is what chip dealers are, and consumers, which is what collectors are. If a half dozen of your friends and neighbors told you told you of bad experiences with a business in Brick, would you think to yourself, the owner of this business isn't in jail, he must not have been found guilty by a jury, so I'll disregard what my neighbors say and patronize him? I hope it turns out that the allegations are false, both against Bill Akeman and the unnamed dealer suspected of selling counterfeits. But I think we need to find out and not just bury our heads in the sand and presume everyone is ethical when there are serious allegations to the contray.
