Having a different plate on the front of your vehicle is unlawful in many states. I was awarded $210 worth of fines in New York City one weekend because I had an old Alaska plate on the front of my Michigan-on-the-back van. I had been stopped and questioned by police in two other states with the plate in front. DON'T DO IT!
