Finally after 4 weeks.
I should be responding soon to e-mails I've received from many collectors and friends.
I recently purchased my own cable modem to reduce my monthy fee.
What a headache. Right after the service was installed, I began receiving approximately 200 to 300 messages in my e-mail. At first I though it was spam. NOPE. The service screwed up the IP numbers and was using my new IP number (I am not so sure of this I don't know if IP numbers are routing numbers for e-mail or not that's what the tech says) as a dumping ground for their garbage mail.
After three weeks of calling almost daily, it is fixed as of yesterday. I still have about 300 messages from Thursday to scrool through and delete, then all is done.
I have been able to send e-mail but wading through the e-mail that was sent directly to me has been no fun along with all the usual minimal spam that I expected to receive. So I've held off responding to almost anyone unless I was home and checked my e-mail about every 20 minutes or so and found something I could find quickly, when the download of mail was fairly small.
Everyone who has written recently will receive a reply in the next few days.
