Calif. Games is a crest & seal "type" chip. Some consider it a crest and seal (or seal and crest as the Burt Company, the chips's manufacturer, called them). To my way of thinking, there must be more of a 'seal' over the inlay to be called a crest and seal.
Most crest and seals were made by the US Playing Card Company during the first half of the 20th century. The Burt Company started off making crest and seals (or seal and crests, as they called them). However, as time went on Burt used less and less seal. Note the plain mold chips made by the Burt Company in the 1970's (Sharkeys, Carson Nugget, Sahara-Tahoe, Harvey's, Harrah's--Jill's chip, Holiday in Reno, etc).
The Calif. Games also has a $1 and $5 chip.
All these chips (except Jill's Harrah's) is on my website.
