I kept it as a souvenir of the cruise. This quickly lead to saving one chip from every casino I went to AND gambled in. I reasoned, if I left with at least one chip in my pocket, it meant that I was not leaving the casino broke! Then I found the Club, and I discovered that I could get chips from casinos that I have never been to, AND, I needed traders.
