Scarne's Complete Guide To Gambling has this picture of faro at the Las Vegas Club, no date. Doesn't look to be any of those C&S LVC script chips in evidence either. Must be in the wall already! Appears they might be using color rather than denominations for player chips... one armed bandit chips? One player seems to be using small, thick markers that look like checker pieces. You can't place cell phones on the tables but LVC apparently has no prohibition against abacuses (abacii?). No title page remains in the book with a copy date, looks like late '50's-early '60's or present day and the plane just landed from New Hampshire. The book notes that folks believe faro has disappeared, but seven games operate in Nevada, "...one at the plush new Star Dust Casino on the strip."
