ALL Atlantic City casinos currently charge the $2 daily parking fee. Sometimes it may be even $5 or $10, depending upon the event in town.... and at which casino. The state allows a percentage of the $2 to be kept by the casino for bookkeeping and collection services. During the huge annual Atlantique City Antique show.... many casinos, such as Caesars, Trump Plaza, Bally's charge the $5 or $10 fee before noon. On busy holidays, such as 4th of July, some casinos charge more than $2. Problem is that many non-gamblers park in the casino garages and lug thier blankets, beach chairs and picnic baskets to the beach.... resulting in "ALL FULL" signs sometimes being posted at the same garages when there are parking spaces left for players.
Showboat and Sands currently waive the $2 parking fee during weekdays if a slot card from that casino is presented to the ticket taker. Only Platinum and Diamond card holders get free parking at Showboat and at Sands on weekends. Diamond card holders also get free parking at Harrah's. In addition, Diamond card holders have a special buffet line at Harrah's and Showboat has a special buffet line for hotel guests and those holding Platinum or Diamond cards. For those who do pay the $2 parking fee, your same day receipt is honored for ONE transfer at any other casino before 6 a.m. the following day.
So folks, if you see these premium cards in any of the slot card RR's making their way around the country..... grab them if you don't already have any. They are valuable .... in more ways than one! If you are really adventurous and want to take the risk... you may also be granted entry into some of the exclusive private player's lounges by presenting one of these premium players cards to the host or hostess.
