Neighbor came over today. Said, "I know you collect casino chips, but I would like you to have this for your collection." She refused anything for it, said it had been in her jewelry box for many years. We agreed that she would allow me to bring her back something from vacation. The token is in great shape. On the bottom is the date 1979. As some of you may/may not know (which I didn't until I checked ) the fire happened in 1980. She said she got this 3 weeks before the fire! Can anyone tell me if this is a common token? Did alot escape the fire? What exactly do I have hear? Thanks in advance!
