If you rent a car, it is not that far of drive to Jackpot (3 casinos), Wells (2 casinos - both truck stops) and Wendover (5 casinos) all are small towns with nothing else but the few casinos for your entertainment. Also within reasonable distance are Battle Mountain (good luck trying to find a table open) and Winnemucca.

Being from the midwest I enjoyed the drive (it was nice to see something other than corn fields) but be warned all the car rental places in town do not give unlimited milage on the cars (200 miles a day) so if you hit all the above towns expect a nice bill for the milage.
