I stayed there for one night on one of my chipping trips to Northern Nevada. It is a small town. You can see all the Casinos in a days time.
Downtown Elko is a nice quiet town. Elko has the
Commercial Hotel and Stockmens Hotel near Downtown, and the Red Lion Casino and Gold Country
Motor Inn outside of town. The food is really good
at the Commercial Hotel and Stockmens. One day is
enough time to do chipping. It is a good town to stop off for a night while traveling through I80
on a chip run or just vacationing. If you plan to go there. I'm sure you'll enjoy yourself. The town
is small and people are real friendly!
