Some time ago, a friend of my folks who retired to Las Vegas gave me this large (44mm) chip from the MGM Grand. He said he got it from someone, who got it from someone...

So I don't know how it was used or distributed, but I ended up with it. I would like to know if it is in the Chip Rack, and if so, what do they think it's worth? Also, can anyone fill me in on some of the history behind how the chip was given out and used? Why did it expire on 6-30-95?
