The boys that originally made the JJJ ID found both the H & T molds at the same time, if memory serves me correctly. No, the JJJ H molds are not in the HCE records I have. I believe someone actually talked to Johnny Eichorn. He is the one that ordered the T molds. There is information on the dealers that dealt there also. I can't find the article I have, BUT I have it somewhere. I feel the H molds are from Desoto also.
To be fair, I have never done research on Hot Springs chips. There is a wealth of history associated with HS. Arkansas chippers are very devoted to collecting HS chips and some have done a lot of research there. When I get new HS hub IDs, I always send it to a couple of the HS boys.
