Funster's, a new Mini-Casino, opened very softly Aug. 3rd, due to construction & Occupancy Permit delays. The casino is owned by Jerry Kingan, who started the upscale hamburger chain, Red Robin -- very popular with the 20-30 set. He recently sold them for multi-millions (eat your heart out, Greg). He also owns a chain of upscale seafood restaurants called Salty's. The concept for this mini-casino is to offer excellent food, stage entertainment (The Original Bill Haley's Comets are scheduled for Aug. 16th) as well video games and gambling. Also has a Sports Bar. Good looking place!
