My response to your question is--do you like what you collect? If so, keep collecting it.

Although some of my chips would probably bring more than I paid for them, that is not my purpose in collecting. If you are looking at it from the point of view of making money, you need to ask the advice of some of the dealers in the club.

Auctions are a hit-and-miss proposition. Sometimes I have paid a lot less than I would have expected for a chip. Other times the bids have shot up beyond what I ever expected. I think that most of the dealers on line are just making enough to help feed their habit.

Any other opinions?
