My email to MailAndNews a few moments ago
Thank you – THANK YOU - for responding.
Unfortunately – I can’t send the entire file to you as Norton quarantined it and eliminated it.
I am in a poker chip collecting club… we have been having problems with viruses and spamming and “people” posting on our Board things like “LOSER” and using other people’s names and such. This may have NO bearing on the “Shaggy” sender.
Last night – I received two emails – and a dozen of us “frequent” posters ALSO began receiving emails from the “Shaggy” sender – claiming to offer us a “preview” of a new release. As I said, I CAN’T send the originating file as my virus program will not allow the file to enter my inbox… and I can’t take the chance of declining the protection I am paying Norton to provide based on my desire to send you the files.
But I do not know this person – I have asked that he remove me from ANY list he may include me… and he responded by sending me a second unwanted email.

These were posts made last night from several chippers (people who collect casino/poker chips) that ALL are receiving emails from the “Shaggy-sender” and ALL find the emails unwelcome – unsolicited. WHY would this sender feel a “need” to check our virus protection?????

I am NOT some disgruntled person on a “personal” vendetta… I simply DO NOT wish people to email me with suspicious files… and then respond to a POLITE request (the first time) to remove me from whatever source they utilize to send false solicitations… by sending me additional files and emails to be quarantined by my virus program. SCARY!!

I DO appreciate the fact you take questionable use of your services seriously - you are to be commended for that.
