I couldn't agree with you more. A lot of us are upset at the thought of seeing slabbers at the convention. I'm especially upset at the decision to allow slabbed chips at our auction. It makes it seem like we condone it. HOWEVER...

If it forces those who are most strongly opposed to slabbing out of the hobby, then the slabbers win. Why should they win? I'd rather see Gene, Jim K. and Jim R. remain active members and help educate newer members and the general public in positive, constructive ways. I'm sure in time that they'll realize that this is the only way to ultimately defeat slabbing.
