That said, I also believe you can collect whatever you want. Unfortunatly I do not think I could sell a slabbed chip at our club auction and feel good about it. I guess I would worry that a new collector would pay a lot of money for something that they thought the club was endorsing by allowing it in our annual auction(the best in the world). I also do not feel it would be honorable for me to say OK, I'll auction everything but the slabbed chips, therefore, I must respond publicly to the private emails I have received and resign my job as club auctioneer.
